It all started in 2009 with a family in a small office in Mississauga, Ontario. With one desk and one mission—to share the amazing tastes of Asia with the world—Ran Foods was born.

Our founder Harry Kim and his family have been in the high quality Asian food business for a long time. They opened one of the first sushi restaurants in Ottawa, and were pioneers in bringing bento boxes into grocery stores.

Today, Ran Foods remains a family owned and operated company dedicated to producing unique Asian products everyone can enjoy.

Ran Foods Inc. has been faithfully serving our customer’s needs since its founding in 2009. I take pride in seeing the growth of our small family business in providing high quality Asian consumer products to the Canadian market.

Today, Ran Foods offers product sourcing and development, distribution, quality control, brokering services and marketing solutions focusing on consumer goods sourced from Asia. It is my dream and hope that we are able to create a more united global community through our operations and products.
